Overview of the Programme

Saint Lucia's Citizenship by Investment Programme (CIP) was established in 2015 and has since become one of the most respected citizenship programs in the Caribbean. It offers qualified investors and their families the opportunity to obtain full Saint Lucia citizenship in exchange for a qualifying investment in the country's economy.

Investment Options

Option 1: National Economic Fund (NEF) Donation

A non-refundable donation to the National Economic Fund. Minimum investment: USD $100,000 for a single applicant. Additional fees apply for including family members.

Option 2: Approved Real Estate Investment

Investment in a government-approved real estate project. Minimum investment: USD $200,000. The property must be held for a minimum of 5 years.

Option 3: Enterprise Project Investment

Investment in an approved enterprise project. Minimum investment: USD $3,500,000. This option also creates employment opportunities and contributes to the local economy.

Option 4: Government Bonds

Purchase of non-interest-bearing government bonds. Minimum investment: USD $300,000, held for a minimum of 5 years.

Visa-Free Travel

Saint Lucia passport holders enjoy visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to over 145 countries and territories, including all EU Schengen Area countries, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Singapore, and many other major destinations. This makes the Saint Lucia passport one of the most powerful in the Caribbean.

Processing Time

Applications are typically processed within 3–6 months from the date of submission of a complete application. eSaintLucia guides clients through every step of the process, from initial eligibility assessment to the taking of the oath of allegiance and issuance of the passport.

Family Inclusion

The programme allows the main applicant to include qualifying dependants, including spouse, children, parents, grandparents, and siblings (subject to eligibility criteria and additional fees). All family members included in the application obtain full Saint Lucia citizenship simultaneously.
