Refund Clarity You Can Count On
Our refund policy is simple and fair: the further your order moves toward the Saint Lucia Registry, the less can be returned — because real costs are incurred. Here's exactly how it works, with no surprises.
What's refundable, and when
Your refund depends on where your order is in the process — the same stages you see on your live order timeline.
| Order stage | Refund | Details |
|---|---|---|
Draft / In Progress You are still filling out your application. Nothing has been paid. | Full refund | No charge has been made, so there is nothing to refund. You can leave at any time. |
Awaiting Payment Your application is complete but payment has not been confirmed. | Full refund | No payment has cleared. Simply cancel — you will not be charged. |
Paid — In Review We have received your payment and our team is preparing your application. It has NOT yet been submitted to the registry. | Service fee, less costs | Full refund of your eSaintLucia service fee, less any third-party or government costs already incurred on your behalf and a small administrative fee for work completed. |
Processing — Submitted to Registry Your application has been filed with the Saint Lucia Registry / government. This step is irreversible. | Non-refundable | Government fees are non-refundable once filed, and the service fee is non-refundable once the work is substantially complete. Government processes cannot be withdrawn. |
Completed Your company, licence, or documents have been delivered. | Non-refundable | The service has been fully delivered, so no refund applies. |
Rejected by the Registry The registry declined the application after submission (e.g. a name conflict). | Service fee refunded | We refund your eSaintLucia service fee. Government fees already paid to the registry are non-refundable, as they are not returned to us. |
The single dividing line is submission to the Saint Lucia Registry. Before submission, your service fee is refundable. After submission, government fees cannot be recovered because they are paid directly to the government.
Government fees vs service fees
We always itemize these separately, so you know exactly what is passed through and what we charge.
Government & registry fees
Paid directly to the Government of Saint Lucia (e.g. the incorporation fee and annual registration fee). Charged upfront and non-refundable once submitted, because the government does not return them.
eSaintLucia service fees
What we charge for preparing, filing, and managing your application. Refundable before submission (less costs already incurred), and refunded if the registry rejects an application we filed.

Refund questions, answered
Can I get a refund before my application is submitted to the registry?
Yes. As long as your order has not been filed with the Saint Lucia Registry, you are entitled to a refund of your eSaintLucia service fee, less any third-party or government costs we have already paid on your behalf and a small administrative fee for work completed. The earlier you tell us, the more is refundable.
What happens after my application is submitted to the government?
Once an application is filed with the Saint Lucia Registry, the process is irreversible. Government fees are non-refundable at that point, and the service fee is non-refundable once the work is substantially complete, because the value has been delivered.
What if the registry rejects my application?
If the registry declines your application after submission (for example, due to a name conflict that passed initial checks), we refund your eSaintLucia service fee. Government fees already paid to the registry are non-refundable, as they are not returned to us. In many cases we can re-file with an alternative name to get you incorporated.
Why are government fees non-refundable?
Government and registry fees are paid directly to the Government of Saint Lucia, not retained by eSaintLucia. Once those fees are submitted, the government does not return them, so we are unable to refund them either. We always itemize government fees separately so you know exactly what is passed through.
How are refunds issued?
Approved refunds are issued immediately as eSaintLucia account credit, which you can apply to any future service straight away. If you prefer your money back to your original payment method (card or bank transfer), we will process that within 30 days of approval. Crypto payments are refunded in kind or as account credit.
Is there a time limit to request a refund?
Refund eligibility is based primarily on how far your order has progressed. To request a refund to your original payment method, please contact us within 30 days of your charge. Account credit can be issued at any eligible stage.
